"Being A Place Where Goodness Happens"
This series will be on the Protestant resistance movement in the little mountainous village of Le chambon-sur-Lignon in France. We will watch the documentary film Weapons of the Spirit produced by Pierre Sauvage, son of holocaust survivors. Pierre Sauvage was born in Le Chambon. We will also rely on a book called Lest Innocent Blood Be Shed: The Story of the Village of Le Chambon and How Goodness Happened There by Dr. Philip P. Hallie as well as other writings and an interview with Bill Moyers about Le Chambon.
